Ray McDonald - CEO
A native of North Carolina, Ray graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1988 with a B.A. in Economics. From 1990 until 1994 Ray worked under John McConnell as a regional sales manager for Medic Computer Systems. After leaving the software business for 5 years he was reunited with McConnell in 1999 and picked to manage the sales team for A4 HealthSystems. As a member of the McConnell team Ray helped to build A4 into one of the market leaders in Electronic Medical Records. The company was sold to Allscripts in 2006 and a year later Ray once again joined John McConnell but this time they took their business skills to the private club industry. In 2007 Ray joined McConnell Golf as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Today the company owns and operates 6 exclusive private clubs in the Carolinas. With the merger of McConnell Golf and ClubSoft Ray has been tapped as the new CEO of the ClubSoft division. The combination of managing the membership and marketing of 6 clubs along with working in the software industry for 15 of the last 20 years allows Ray to bring a unique perspective to the challenges of the private club market.
John Lampros - COO, CFO
With over three decades of experience in the hospitality and software industries, John Lampros has earned the reputation for hospitality and club automation marketing success and business leadership. He is a member of the University Club of Washington DC, Pinehurst Country Club in Pinehurst, NC, and the Morehead City Golf and Country Club in his hometown of Beaufort, North Carolina.
After leaving Louisburg College in 1965, John joined the corporate headquarters of Putt-Putt Golf and Games, a National Family Recreation Franchise Company. By 1970, he became the executive vice-president focused on new locations growth. In 1975 his job responsibility migrated toward revenue growth from existing locations. This began the experience of implementing technology to pull transaction data from the points of sale nightly into the home office to generate sales reporting and establish trends in customer spending.
As interest in the technology field began to grow, John left Putt-Putt Golf and Games and became a South East Sales Representative for the Micros Fidelio product line in 1977. This effort evolved into one of the most successful Micros Systems Inc. automated point-of-sale dealerships in the southeast. John’s clients included US Army Club System, Club Corp of America, and his first private club client, Alamance Country Club. The experience with Alamance Country Club opened the door for John to service what became a large group of private clubs in the southeast region of the US.
By 1989, John focused his attention strictly on club software systems. He started a relationship with Diamond Management Systems Inc. (DMS). He became one of DMS’ top producing dealers as well as an automation authority in the region. In 1993, John was the recipient of the Methodist College Small Business Excellence Award.
In 1999, John joined the ClubSoft Team of Associates through a relationship with Gary Jonas Computing and began operations of his territory in Mid-Atlantic States. His territory continued to expand in the northeast and mid-west and eventually included twenty-five states as well as the District of Columbia. The group that is now together under the ClubSoft USA Team installed and serviced over nine hundred of the Jonas clients.
In 2005 John joined Mark Schlake, Rusty Hruby, and Jason House to pursue the development of a Full Suite of Integrated Private Club Software Products. In September 2006 ClubSoft North America, LLC was formed to provide product and service on a national level to the Private Club Industry. The ClubSoft Companies now supply products and services to approximately two hundred private and semi-private golf clubs, city clubs, tennis clubs, and yacht clubs.
Mark Schlake - Vice-President Client Services
Mark has over 20 years experience providing technology solutions to the Private Club and Golf Industry. An industry veteran, Mark first started with Smyth Business Systems. He later worked for Country Club Systems and ClubTec.
In 1997, Mark founded ClubSoft. Based in Kansas City, ClubSoft grew to become the largest independent distribution agent of Club Management Systems in North America.
In 2003, ClubSoft developed one of the first integrated web solutions that tied a club's website to their club management application. This product was later sold to Jonas and renamed Jonas ClubHouse Online.
In 2005, ClubSoft began full-time development of a comprehensive suite of software for the private club and golf industry. We are dedicated to incorporating current technology into the applications that we develop, thereby creating a new value relationship with our customers.
Rusty Hruby - Vice-President Sales
Rusty is ClubSoft's Vice President of Sales serving the Southwestern United States. With twelve years of experience providing software solutions to the club industry, Rusty has had the opportunity to directly work with nearly 300 clubs. As a CPA, he has a unique advantage of understanding both the financial and technological challenges that today's club management professional’s encounter. Upon earning his degree from Texas A&M University, Rusty began his career with one of the "Big 6" public accounting firms in Houston.
In 1994, he was introduced to the club industry upon joining ClubSystems Group (formerly Diamond Management Systems).
Jason House - Vice-President Product Development
Jason has been working in the software development industry for over 12 years building intelligent, scalable line of buisness applications. His knowledge and skills have been critical to improving processes from research grant application software, sales-force automation solutions and automated B2B order fulfillment.
In 2005, Jason joined the ClubSoft team to bring to market a fully integrated club solution. From day one Jason has been involved in the design, development and implementation of the ClubSoft technology platform. Since that time, Jason has been maintaining the team of engineers that make the software come to life. He is pleased to continue to bring new innovation to the product in his role as Vice President of Product Development.
