Lee Larimore is ClubSoft's Regional Sales Representative for Baltimore, Virginia, and Washington DC.
Lee brings over 20 years of club industry experience to ClubSoft. His career began in public accounting as an auditor with a Big 8 firm (yes, that was back in 1981 when there really were "Eight"). He left public accounting to work for one of his clients, Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth, Texas. After a 16 year career at the club (which included 17 PGA events and a USGA event), Lee made the jump over to the technology side of the industry.
I have always enjoyed using technology to help streamline operations within a club. Now, on the vendor side, I have the opportunity to assist many clubs in this endeavor.
Lee also had a couple of years sales experience with Clubsystems Group as their Regional Account Manager for the southwest. He then relocated to the northern Virginia area and implemented over two dozen Jonas conversions.
While continuing to maintain his public accounting certification and eager to share his industry experience from both sides of the fence with his colleagues, Lee accepted a position with ClubSoft in order to continue to provide the industry with cost effective technology solutions.
On a personal level, Lee has a BS in Business Administration and Accounting from Washington and Lee University. His wife, Martha, has been the controller at Springfield Golf & Country Club for 20 years. Both have been past presidents of their respective HFTP chapters and served on local and international committees. Lee has also published articles and led technology related seminars for HFTP at both local and national levels. They have four wonderful daughters.
